On Tuesday, May 13, the Edmonton Community Legal Centre will be holding a FREE workshop on landlord-tenant rights. It will be held at Stanley Milner Library (7 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Downtown Edmonton), starting at 7 pm. The 90-minute workshop will be presented by a lawyer with expertise in the area, and will be followed by a Q&A session.
We will cover:
- How the Residential Tenancies Act applies to landlords and tenants
- Evictions and rent increases
- Responsibilities of landlords and tenants
- Human rights and duties to accommodate
- Getting legal help

The next day, on Wednesday, May 14, we will be holding a FREE workshop on wills and estates. It will be held at Capilano Library (201 Capilano Mall, 5004 98 Avenue, Edmonton), starting at 7 pm. As always, the 60-minute workshop will be presented by a lawyer with expertise in the area, and will be followed by a Q&A session.
