Alberta Human Services is hosting a one-hour webcast titled: Siksika Health Services FASD Program: A Case Study.
The Siksika FASD program delivers the three pillars of services: assessment and diagnosis, awareness and prevention, and supports for individuals and caregivers.
This webcast will cover how the Siksika Health Services have amended the original Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) home visitation model to work for the First Nations community they serve. It will address:
• Details on the Siksika Nation
• Their patient and family care model
• Their individual and family care model
• Their cultural model of care
It will also cover how these three models are combined into Siksika Health Services’ model of care.
