Take Part in the FREE World Record Breaking Largest Swimming Lesson at West Edmonton Mall on June 22 | 2017

On June 22, at 3:00 p.m., World Waterpark will be providing area residents with a free swimming lesson. The free lesson will be one of hundreds held in aquatic facilities worldwide in an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest swimming lesson and to help spread the message that Swimming Lessons Save Lives™. Just think – you or your child could become a world record holder!

TIP // If you wish to remain in the park following the lesson or come early to enjoy World Waterpark’s slides and other attractions, World Waterpark will be offering a discounted rate of $20 per child (beginning at noon). One parent chaperone is included with each purchased admission.
Did you know? Research shows risk of drowning can be reduced by 88% if children participate in formal swimming lessons between the ages of 1-4? World Waterpark is very passionate about increasing awareness in the community, and it’s something that we believe passionately in, as we’ve enrolled in our children in swimming lessons as soon as they were able to enter the unparented lessons. As a result of that, and plenty of practice, both children were able to swim well by the age of four.

The event is held across hundreds of facilities around the world in order to set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s largest simultaneous swimming lesson across multiple venues. This is the third year the World Waterpark will be a host and they’re expecting their turn out yet! It’s a fantastic time to explore the waterpark, get a reduced admission rate and take part in a world-record-breaking swimming lesson.
