The purpose of the Handbook is to set forth the formal operational policies and procedures of the Edmonton and area Fetal Alcohol Network Society. This direction-setting document serves to guide the Society Board of Directors, known as the ‘Leadership Team’, the Executive Board Officers, Members of the Society, Volunteers, and those contracted to the Network.

The EFAN Strategic Plan 2024-2027 serves as a roadmap for our organization over the next three years. It outlines our priorities, goals, and actions to enhance services, foster collaboration, and strengthen support for individuals, families, and communities impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

A SWOT analysis is a strategic planning tool used to identify and evaluate the internal and external factors that can impact an organization’s success. It involves assessing the organization’s Strengths and Weaknesses and the Opportunities and Threats present in the external environment. By understanding these elements, the Edmonton Fetal Alcohol Network (EFAN) can develop strategies to leverage its strengths, address its weaknesses, capitalize on opportunities, and mitigate potential threats, thereby enhancing its effectiveness and resilience in supporting individuals and families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
