Multiplying Equality will be hosting its 2nd annual Stree Store in partnership with Boyle Street Community Services this Saturday, October 24, 2015.
The Street Store is a one-day pop-up shop that aims to provide warm clothing to the local homeless community through a dignified “shopping” experience, where volunteers will meet one-on-one with the homeless, bring them around the store, and help them pick out clothes that cater to their needs and tastes. Last year was a wonderful experience getting to interact with the homeless community and hear their stories firsthand.
