The Edmonton and Area Fetal Alcohol Network Society (EFAN) is excited to announce the release of a new Expression of Interest (EOI) for the delivery of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) assessment and diagnostic services for adults in our region.
EFAN is seeking proposals from qualified service providers to offer multidisciplinary assessments aligned with the Canadian Guidelines for FASD Diagnosis (2015), with a particular focus on serving individuals aged 18 to 35, a critical period of emerging adulthood when access to supports can significantly impact long-term outcomes.
Who can apply:
We welcome applications from organizations with experience in FASD or neurodevelopmental assessments, a commitment to trauma-informed and culturally safe practices, and the capacity to serve adults across the EFAN region.
Scope of work includes:
- Multidisciplinary assessments in line with the 2015 Canadian Guidelines
- Strengths-based reporting and service planning
- Collaboration with EFAN and referring agencies
- Engagement with clients and caregivers throughout the process
- Participation in EFAN’s reporting and evaluation activities
Available Funding:
Up to $404,000 is available for services between April 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027. Proposals for full or partial delivery will be considered. All proposals must include a clear all-inclusive per-assessment rate to support equitable review and transparent resource allocation.
