We had the pleasure of interviewing a wonderful family about their experience with FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome), a type of birth defect in the FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorders) category. Anne and Becky love their adopted child, Demonte, and change their lives in order to accommodate the needs that come with FAS. Please help spread the message to not drink alcohol during pregnancy. If you see a pregnant woman reach for that glass, speak up.
