MNA’s Children and Family Services Department’s ‘Community Information Session’ will be on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder this month. It will be hosted virtually on March 25, 2021 from 7pm – 8:30pm.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is a complex condition impacting individuals, families, caregivers, and community members in various ways. The goal of this event is to create a safe space where we can talk about the factors that contribute to FASD, the role we can each play in prevention, and how to best support those impacted by it.
Guest speaker Brittany Durant, the interim supervisor of the McDaniel Youth Program at Catholic Social Services and the co-chair of the Edmonton Fetal Alcohol Network, will be joining us to bust some myths and dispel the stigma surrounding FASD.
Following the presentation, we will have time for a Q&A session where you can ask all your questions.
