Our Training
This training approaches Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and other neuro-behavioural conditions from a brain-based approach. This goal is to establish a common language for parents and caregivers, professionals and community partners so that there is a shared understanding of the individual from a brain-based perspective. This 12-hour training format was developed to help establish and sustain strengths-based informed networks of care. By creating “collective wisdom” we will:
- Support placements.
- Strengthen programs – including school.
- Provide a philosophy of intervention that is prevention based
